Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) reduce the upfront cost of eligible solar (and often battery) systems across Australia.
When you install an eligible system, it creates STCs based on size, location zone and deeming period. Those certificates have a market value that is typically assigned to your installer and applied as a discount on your quote — so you see a lower price from day one rather than claiming cash later.
